Book: Children Make Terrible Pets by Peter Brown

Lucy finds Squeaker in the woods and takes him home. But she soon finds out that children aren’t such lovable pets after all … This one got a lot of giggles from the adults in the crowd as well as the children. 😀

Egg Shakers: Shake It by Sally’s Music Circle

Book: Some Pets by Angela DiTerlizzi; pets by Brendan Wenzel

Rhyming book about all sorts of animals at the pet fair. I love the diverse kids in an urban setting and the variety of pets featured. This book is very short and would be good for toddlers or babies too!
